About The Event

Please join us for an intimate and interactive evening with 4 of our very own Impact authors – each with a uniquely personal and powerful story to tell.

In Addicted to the AddictedMarguerite Connelly bravely shares her journey of living with her son's drug addiction, her experience with a system that doesn’t want him to get well, and her personal path to peace and acceptance.

Quiet Mind Crazy Heart is Suzi Edwards’ roller coaster of a memoir, telling the story of her unusual upbringing in her family's hotel in Saint Thomas and the adventurous life that followed.  Suzi has been a fashion designer in New York and London, a yogi in India, a mother in Florida, and an artist most recently known for her large-scale public mosaic installations.  Like her mosaic artwork, where thousands of disparate pieces come together to create a cohesive and beautiful whole, Suzi’s spiritual practice has guided her to find synchronicity in chaos and remain sane through it all.

Flose LaPierre is a writer and a healer.  Perhaps best known locally as the facilitator of Write to Heal Workshops, Flose guides her students through mediation and breathing exercises to unlock their creative “flow.”  After suffering a traumatic personal loss last fall, the death of her 25-year old brother, Flose's journey currently includes healing herself.

Rosa White is the author of the children's book, The Bird Who Was Afraid To Fly.  Her work also appears in the anthology Rebirth of A Woman: Unapologetically Living Your Truth.  Rosa’s writing and spirit inspired me to overcome my fear of uncharted territory and decide to facilitate this incredible panel discussion!

This event is being generously underwritten by Window Gang Palm Beach and the Henry L. Kimelman Family Foundation.

Lite bites and libations served.
