What is Impact?

Impact the Palm Beaches is a simple commitment to efficient and effective philanthropy. We are a women's philanthropic group where each member contributes $1,100 per year and for every 100 members we award a $100,000 grant to a local, vetted non-profit program that is innovative, transformational, and sustainable.Each year at the annual awards ceremony, non-profit finalists are invited to speak and members vote to determine who will receive our $100,000 grants. Impact the Palm Beaches Inc. is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit.

We award grants to non-profit organizations that serve Palm Beach County from north of Lake Worth Road to the Martin County line and out to the Glades.

I want to become a member. As a new member what are my responsibilities?

Impact the Palm Beaches member's can be involved as much or as little as they choose. 
 
Impact the Palm Beaches has no employees, so we do not just pool our financial resources. We also pool our social, networking, and career expertise to run this organization.

In addition, Impact the Palm Beaches hosts several, social, volunteer, and educational events each year. While not required, members are invited to attend our Annual Awards Ceremony to vote on our $100,000 grants.

Members commit to an annual contribution of $1,100 which consists of $1,000 for our grant award pool and $100 for operating expenses.
