May Virtual Book Club – Born a Crime by Trevor Noah

Comedian and host of the Daily Show, Trevor Noah uses his humor and insight to share stories from his unique and challenging upbringing. Born to a mixed-race couple in South Africa (thus the title), Noah’s critically acclaimed memoir paints a portrait of life in South Africa in the 1980s and ‘90s. It is also a tribute to his strong, courageous and funny mother.  Try the audio book if you want to hear the story in Noah’s own voice.  Impact The Palm Beaches Book Club reads books that inspire us and connect us as women and as a community.
