December Volunteer Spotlight

Featuring: Eilene Turenne

Meet Eileen, a retired educator with over 30 years of experience, brings her lifelong passion for learning, leadership, and community connection to her volunteer work with Impact the Palm Beaches. A proud Floridian, Eileen lives in Jupiter with her husband of 33 years and enjoys running, boating, and traveling. She and her husband met at the University of Florida and are proud parents to three daughters—all fellow Gators—along with two sons-in-law and four grandsons.

After retiring, Eileen sought a meaningful way to continue making a difference in her community. Introduced to Impact through her neighbors, she was immediately drawn to the organization’s mission and camaraderie. Attending the 2024 Kickoff event confirmed her passion for the cause, and she found the perfect fit on the Events Committee—where she applies her organizational skills and enthusiasm for planning to support Impact’s initiatives. For Eileen, it’s a joy to combine service, creativity, and community in this next chapter of life.
