June 2026 Newsletter

Together, we unite dynamic women to power change in our community.

June Newsletter

Dear Members and Friends,

As we wind down our presidency, we find ourselves both proud and humbled. It’s hard to believe how quickly this year has passed! When we look back, we are filled with gratitude for all that we accomplished together. This was a year of true transition for Impact the Palm Beaches — one that marks a defining chapter in our organization’s history.

As you know, we completed our move from operating under a fiscal agent to becoming our own independent 501(c)(3). We remain deeply grateful to the Town of Palm Beach United Way — we would not be where we are today without their steadfast support and partnership.

We were fortunate to serve alongside an extraordinary group of women on this year’s board. Their dedication, wisdom, and heart made this season not only successful but joyful. We are equally thrilled about the incoming board — a talented, committed group that reflects a thoughtful succession plan and a bright future for Impact the Palm Beaches.

Although our term as Co-Presidents is ending, our involvement is not. We look forward to continuing to serve on the Executive Board and as members of the newly formed POWW — Presidents of Wisdom and Worth (thank you, Keely, for your love of acronyms). We are thrilled to support our incoming Co-Presidents, Keely Gideon-Taylor and Crystal Stiles, and know they will usher in a dynamic, successful season. We hope you will support them wholeheartedly by joining, renewing membership, volunteering, and spreading the word about Impact the Palm Beaches. Our collective strength is what fuels our ability to create meaningful change in our community.

Thank you for the privilege of serving as your Co-Presidents. It has been an honor, a joy, and a year we will always treasure.

With gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead,

Project Grow Opens New Opportunities for Children and Families

One of the most meaningful aspects of IMPACT the Palm Beaches is seeing our collective giving transformed into projects that directly benefit local families. That impact came to life with the ribbon cutting of Project Grow at Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches.

In 2025, IMPACT awarded Adopt-A-Family a $100,000 grant to support the creation of an innovative outdoor playground and green space for children living on campus. Designed for elementary-aged children experiencing homelessness or growing up in poverty, Project Grow provides a safe and welcoming environment where children can play, explore, build friendships, and simply enjoy being kids.

The project complements Adopt-A-Family's broader mission of helping families achieve long-term stability through housing, education, counseling, mentoring, and supportive services. While parents work toward self-sufficiency, children now have a dedicated space where they can learn, grow, and thrive.

The ribbon-cutting celebration brought together community leaders, supporters, and IMPACT members to celebrate the completion of the project. The highlight of the day was watching children eagerly run onto the playground for the first time, filling the space with laughter and excitement.

For IMPACT members, it was a powerful reminder of how collective giving creates lasting change. Thanks to your generosity, Project Grow will serve children and families for years to come, providing not only a place to play, but a place where hope, confidence, and community can flourish.

become an impact ambassador.

Ambassadors attend business and social functions as an Impact the Palm Beaches representative to introduce our cause to others at gatherings.

For the Ambassador Program to succeed, we need your help!

  • Do you work for an organization that hosts events?

  • Do you have access to event tickets within the Palm Beaches?

  • Are you involved with organizations within the Palm Beaches?

If so, and you have extra event tickets available, consider donating the tickets to Impact so one of our Ambassadors can attend. As well, if you have access to invitation-only private functions and would like an Ambassador to join you, please contact us.

For more information on becoming an Ambassador or donate tickets/invitations, contact Charlotte Tom: impactcharlottet@gmail.com.
