We are proud to present Ann Polya, Ph.D. as this month’s member spotlight.
Ann grew up in a small town near Cardiff in Wales UK, and after a brief time in London, she moved to live and work in Germany, France, Belgium, Japan and then the USA; she is now a US citizen and lives in Jupiter.
Ann is the author of four non-fiction books that take a pro-active approach to promote positive and beneficial life choices. She is a psychologist, an Executive Coach, and formerly was a legislator at the European Union, a spokesperson at the UN, and a senior corporate executive at Pfizer.
She joined Impact the Palm Beaches because Ann believes we can overcome obstacles to reach for the life we want, and, consequently, Impact the Palm Beaches is a natural fit. Indeed, Impact comes with the benefit of joining a collective of like-minded women to provide game-changing grants to non-profit organizations to fund projects that are truly transformational, address unmet needs through an innovative approach, greatly impact the beneficiaries, and are sustainable for years to come.
Ann has constantly sought out novel and challenging choices for self-empowerment and self-growth and applies both her experience and academic knowledge to expand our perspective for better decision-making.
Ann has a Doctorate in Cognitive Therapy and Organizational Consulting. Her hobbies include exploring, biking, swimming, golf and tennis, and travel.
